Sherk "wins" appeal, but CSAC only reduces suspension

UFC Lightweight champion Sean Sherk had his appeal hearing with the California State Athletic Commision on Tuesday and had his suspension reduced to six months. The CSAC had issued a one year suspension after testing positive for Nandrolone Metabolites following his victory over Hermes Franca at UFC 73 on July 7.

Sherk has vowed to fight the ruling and clear his name.
