Women's Boxing Begins In London

With all but one Team USA Boxing male fighters eliminated, the American focus now shifts to the women. Three members of Team USA will compete in the Olympics starting this weekend.

After a 4-0 start for the USA male competitors, eight of nine boxers lost their next fights and the team that sent 12 boxers to the London Games is now pinning hopes of a medal on the women.

A first-time Olympic sport for women, Team USA has a strong group in all three weight divisions:

132: Queen Underwood, Seattle, WA (Ranked #10 by AIBA)
165: Claressa Shields, Flint, MI (Ranked #12 by AIBA)

Yes, its shocking that men's boxing team is now eliminated from the Olympics and everyone is now looking for women's boxing team of USA. Now day's many new boxing training centers are opened in USA like Next Edge Academy which provides Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu(BJJ), Muay Thai and Mixed Martial Arts(MMA)training in Sioux Falls, South Dakota
