Menne wins at Bellator FC

Former UFC Middleweight Champion Dave Menne returned to the cage on April 17 competing in the Bellator Fighting Championships Welterweight Tournament.  His opponent was American Top Team fighter Norman Paraisy (5-0).

A close fight early on Menne eventually took control of the fight on the ground.  The fight finally came to an end at 2:39 of the third round via submission by rear naked choke.

Menne improved his record to 43-15-2.  He will next fight Omar de la Cruz (4-1) in the tournament semifinals on May 15 in Chicago.
