Brainerd native Brock Larson (24-2) will be fighting on the UFC Fight Night 18 card on Wednesday, April 1. The event will be broadcast live on SpikeTV at 7 PM.
Larson, who has won his past three fights, will face UFC rookie Jesse Sanders. Sanders (20-4) has fought a majority of his fights in the Midwest promotion Extreme Challenge and is a former EXC Welterweight Champion. Fighting out of Oskaloosa (Iowa), Sanders began his MMA career after fighting Golden Gloves boxing and Toughman Tournaments.
Larson will be making his eighth appearance for the UFC/WEC promotion. He has a 5-2 record in those fights, including victories over Carlo Prater, John Alessio, Kevin Knabjian, Erik Apple, & Keita Nakamura.
