10:40 PM: Brock Lesnar walks out to the arena to the Motley Crue classic "Shout at the Devil."
10:48 PM: The bell sounds to start the first round!
15 seconds into the fight, Lesnar lands a straight right hand that drops Herring. Lesnar gets him to the mat and ground-and-pound for the rest of the round.
Second round is similar to the first. Lesnar takes Herring down to the mat. He lands several knees to the body early on and works his ground-and-pound for the entire round again.
Third round is more of the same. Knees, ground-and-pound, wrestling domination. Herring ends the fight with two black eyes and a messed up face. Total destruction.
11:08 PM: Decision is announced. All three judges score the fight 30-26. Lesnar improves his MMA record to 2-1.
Herring falls to 28-14. His first career MMA fight was in April of 1997. He is a veteran of PrideFC and UFC. Herring has fought standout veterans Evan Tanner, Tom Erickson, Mark Kerr, Vitor Belfort, Igor Vovchanchyn, current world #1 pound-for-pound Fedor Emelianenko, Mirko Cro Cop, Gary Goodridge, and current UFC Heavyweight Champion Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira (3 times).
