MAX Fights 3 this Saturday

MAX Fights LLC Presents MAX FIGHTS 3 - “Respect: International”

Fargo, ND April 26, 2008 – MAX FIGHTS III, The biggest fight card to hit the area, will happen at the Fargo Civic Auditorium Saturday, April 26th at 7:30pm (doors open at 6:30). Mark Cuban-owned, HdnetFights will be on site to film this event, so not only will a packed civic center be watching, but so too will millions from around the country!

Headlining the card will be 2006 World jiu jitsu champion, Daniel Otero, who will come to us all the way from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Daniel is a multiple time Shooto veteran and Shooto champion. Facing Otero is Josh Rave of Sioux Falls, SD. Josh brings a remarkable 37-2 record into the fight and is ranked 6th in the World by fightmatrix in his class.

M.A.X. Fights' second title will be up for grabs when WEC veteran, Kyle Jensen enters the cage against Fargo's Marshall Martin. Kyle brings 56 fights worth of experience into this lightweight title match.

Recently crowned M.A.X. Fights 145lb champion, Saul Mitchell will be defending his title against Bryant “The Crow” Clark. Mitchell will attempt to showcase his amazing Muay Thai against the very athletic Clark.

Four time national wrestling champion, Marcus Levesseur, who had an unbelievable undefeated wrestling career at Augsburg will face Fargo's Jessi Evans who brings an excellent 9-3 record himself. An amazing wrestler in his own right, Jacob Volkmann, who grew up in Battle Lake, MN and was a three time all-American wrestler at the U of MN will bring his undefeated MMA record to the cage in Fargo. Former Grand Forks boxing great, Butch “The Maddog” Hajicek, returns to MMA to face Adam Borgen of Fargo in a classic striker versus ground fighter match up. Zack Schroeder of Gwinner, ND returns to the cage to take on explosive Minneapolis wrestler, Brian Strain at 145lbs. In a heavyweight bout, two great wrestlers Zach Thumb will face Zak Jensen, and many more great fights on this card.

Weigh-ins will be at the Super8 on Interstate blvd in Fargo 7:30pm Friday, April 25th with a live remote by The FAN radio. All media welcome. Fights start at 7:30pm Saturday, April 26th; doors open at 6:30pm. Tickets went on sale Thursday March 20th at all ticketmaster locations and at the Fargo Civic, so don’t miss out but your tickets now.
