Heavyweight Brock Lesnar (1-0) will make his UFC debut on February 2, 2008 at UFC 81 in Las Vegas. His opponent will be former UFC Heavyweight champion Frank Mir (10-3).
A native of Las Vegas, Mir (10-3) won the UFC title in June of 2004 by breaking the arm of former champion Tim Sylvia. Mir then missed over 18 months as he was in a traffic accident. Mir returned to the UFC in February 2006 and lost by KO to Marcio Cruz. Mir has since won two of his last three fights, including his last fight at UFC 74 in August with a submission victory over Antoni Hardonk.
